On this page I've scanned some various flat items from my collection for others to have a look at/for archival purposes. Lots of random flats will be here in the future, including my small collection of card pack arts, stickers, postcards, and clear files.
Pokemon Fan
Pokémon Fan was a small zine-like booklet that was distributed at various Pokémon events and at the now defunct Pokémon Center New York. Each booklet includes the latest news about games, merchandise, and events, as well as fan and celebrity interviews. It appears there was an issue almost every season (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter) until about 2007. There is also an unrelated Japanese magazine with the same title by Corocoro! Feel free to use these scans for reference (or wishlist!); I would just ask that you provide a link back here so others can check out the scans. I'm on the lookout for more issues that I don't have; so if you come across any feel free to send an e-mail with any information! Please enjoy this look back through time.
Fall 2004 - Deoxys Revealed! I got my copy from PCNY, when getting the Deoxys distribution. Unfortunately, that Deoxys is no longer with me today, but at least I still have this pamphlet!
Spring 2006 - 10th Released for the 10th anniversary, this issue features a nice metallic silver print of all the Pokemon on it! Notably, this issue features Raikou on the back. It was often left out of cameos in image compilations like this, due to not having a movie like Entei and Suicune.
Spring/Summer 2006 - Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue Rescue Team I believe I got my copy from the 10th anniversary party in Bryant Park, NYC. They had a booth where you could test out the first PMD games!
Winter 2006 - Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea A GameStop edition of Pokemon Fan, featuring info about Diamond and Pearl and the new movie featuring Manaphy and a few other generation 4 cameo Pokemon such as Chatot.
Special Issue 2007 - Get Your Battle On! Not 100% sure on this; but I believe I got my copy from the old Toys R Us store in NYC, along with Battle Revolution and the giant DP Pokedex. Otherwise, it was probably from GameStop or another such store. This volume contains info pertaining to the newly released Diamond and Pearl games! It has a lot of introductory tips and tricks to not only game basics, but features 'ability based combos' that you might use as an intro to competitive battling for younger kids. Neat!
B/W Target Pre-Order Art Folio
An art folio included with pre-ordering Black or White at Target. Each image is about the size of a postcard. They are made out of a heavy satin cardstock. The front has an image, and the back has a brief set of text explaining the image on the front.
10th Anniversary Distribution
For the 10th anniversary, players could select two Pokemon to download onto their cartridges. My sheet is from Bryant Park, NYC, and I ended up selecting Pikachu (with fly) and Latias. Originally I was selecting Latios, but someone in line traded me a masterball so I could catch mine in Ruby. I still have both the Latios and Latias!
TOMY Recall Plush Paperwork
Paperwork included with my Tomy Munchlax regarding the recall that the plush was included in.
